The first year of the Community Garden was a rousing success, with 30 gardeners renting plots in the Garden! Since many of them plan to return, 16 additional plots have been added to the Garden for next summer, for a total of 48 plots. The existing water line will be extended to accommodate the new plots, and the fence will also be expanded, with a new gate to provide more convenient access to the new plots. Garden plots are 20 x 20 feet and may be shared by two gardeners if desired.

Registration forms (pdf) are available online through the Friends of Adams Farm here, the recreation department here or at the Rec. The cost is $30, due at the time of registration. Plots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. If demand exceeds supply, those registered who don’t receive plots will be put on a waiting list should plots become available after Opening Day at the Community Garden, May 2.
